The Hook Head lighthouse in County Wexford Ireland has been standing for 800 years. The gravitas of this ancient round tower is enhanced by the late afternoon sun and the billowing clouds of a passing autumn squall.

I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. My love of good food drives me as a cook, a reader, a traveller, an artist and but mostly as an eater. I cooked professionally for many years but have no formal training. Simply guided by a love of eating good food, respect for ingredients and an abhorrence of artificial additives, I cook instinctively applying the technical know how acquired by experience. Loved the experience of that lighthouse. Even now Fraser has a picture of it as the wallpaper on his phone 🙂

That lighthouse photo is stunning. Good to see your travel photos too. I have been found that photo challenges force me to order my digital files and as a result, re-live those wonderful experiences.

Thanks Francesca, you DID inspire me to do this. I have 1000s of photos that are rarely looked at. I have already enjoyed reliving many experiences, local and OS.I can see I will need to get my files organized too, not a bad thing at all.
