Into the tiny harbour at Mousehole, pronounced mowzel, on the south coast of Cornwall chugs a mouse sized boat.

I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. My love of good food drives me as a cook, a reader, a traveller, an artist and but mostly as an eater. I cooked professionally for many years but have no formal training. Simply guided by a love of eating good food, respect for ingredients and an abhorrence of artificial additives, I cook instinctively applying the technical know how acquired by experience. Thanks for taking me back to Mousehole. I love the way you have framed the boat and in the background do I see St Michael’s Mount? Must show Mr T: his ancestors come from nearby. Last time we were they, he wanted to reclaim the old pub that one of them used to own in the 1800s.

I know I was in Mousehole when I shot this but seeing St Michael’s Mount in the background I had to check the map, I started to doubt myself. Such an atmospheric village, just loved the tiny harbour, oh and the pub!

I also recognised St Michael’s Mount in the background. Lovely shot. I love little boats and I love Cornish fishing villages.
