Yellow-WP Weekly Photo Challenge

A few years ago I was privileged to visit Dwarka in the Indian state of Gujurat, the renowned and ancient city of Krishna, one of the four holiest of pilgrim sites for Hindus.
Each day at dusk, a new flag is raised over the temple, a flag gifted by an Indian village. Great ceremony accompanies the passage of the folded flag enroute to the temple. The women from the village share the honour and good fortune associated with parading the blessed flag.

About ladyredspecs

I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. My love of good food drives me as a cook, a reader, a traveller, an artist and but mostly as an eater. I cooked professionally for many years but have no formal training. Simply guided by a love of eating good food, respect for ingredients and an abhorrence of artificial additives, I cook instinctively applying the technical know how acquired by experience. I hope you enjoy what I share Sandra AKA ladyredspecs

Nother great image from your Indian file. What a beautiful woman. Your Indian photos should be collated into a book.
